Nicoka fits what we need exactly

We are very happy with Nicoka, because it fits what we need exactly. No tool is perfect, of course, but this is software that keeps evolving and improving. One thing we particularly value about Nicoka is the commercial and technical relationship.
Before Nicoka, we were short of time because candidate records had to be keyed in by hand. Every record meant adding a lot of information (title, surname, first name, email address, phone number and so on), which was a considerable administrative load.


We had few automated, adaptable templates, either for job opportunities or for business development. Our main challenge was to automate our work, to build an effective CV database, and so to give more time to candidates and clients. I looked for an ATS that suited us for close to five years. In the end it was while researching on ChatGPT that I came across Nicoka. I had set precise criteria, in particular software built for recruitment agencies and made in France.

ChatGPT let me narrow my search and find Nicoka, which led me to get in touch with the company. With Nicoka we have gained an enormous amount of time. We used to spend around 75 % of it on administrative tasks. Today we can put that time into more strategic work, such as social media or business development. Nicoka also gives us:

Storme RH is a recruitment agency specialising in fixed-term and permanent contracts.
We are a team of five based in Reunion, working mainly across the Indian Ocean region and the French overseas territories, with mainland France now opening up.
We chose to be a multi-specialist agency rather than a generalist or a single-sector specialist, so that we can meet our clients' varied needs with a more targeted approach.


We recently supported a client through a difficult hire that ran for close to a year, with several changes of strategy, criteria and budget along the way. Through all of it we stayed involved, adapting our approach and advising the client actively. That assignment says a lot about our long-term commitment, well beyond a one-off piece of work.


Our biggest challenge today is making roles attractive to candidates. Business development is going well, but the central question remains:
👉 How do we attract the right candidates?
👉 How do we get them committed to a project for the long run?
We have to keep reinventing our methods, not just to attract talent but to convince it and keep it.

Effective - Adaptable - Intricate (in the best sense)

  • Nicoka is a very complete tool with a great deal of scope for configuration. Yes, that takes time to learn, but I would rather have powerful, configurable software than something fixed and limited. I spent six weeks getting to know the tool properly and structuring my workflow. Today I am convinced we could automate a good deal more with better command of it.
