The principle

A recruitment deal does not stop at signature

In a general-purpose CRM, the opportunity ends once it is won. In an agency, that is where the work starts: the assignment opens, candidates come in, the client waits for a shortlist, and the fee will depend on the candidate who actually joins.

The Nicoka CABS pipeline is built for what comes next. A won opportunity opens the assignment in the same tool, with the same client account, the same terms and the same contact.

  • What is at stake, in plain sight : amount, stage, due date, next action.
  • The work shared out : every deal has its consultant, its branch, its tasks.
  • The handover with nothing to retype : from the won deal to the assignment, then to the invoice.
In practice

A board that shows what is moving and what is stalling

Deals move from one stage to the next, with their amount and their next action. The column totals give the pipeline's real weight, not an impression.

  • Your sales stages : they are configurable, like the rest of your processes.
  • Notes, tasks and documents attached to the deal, not scattered around.
  • Assignment to a consultant and a branch, so the team can follow it.
  • Created in the field : a job ad you spot becomes an opportunity in one click.

Example pipeline. Fictional data.

What the pipeline gives you

Knowing what is coming in, and what has stopped moving

Six situations from an agency's business development.

An honest overall view

Amounts, stages and due dates in one place. Monday's sales meeting starts from shared figures, not from what each person remembers.

  • Total per stage
  • Due date per deal
  • Filters by consultant and by branch

Stalled deals spotted

An opportunity with no next action stands out. That is often where lost revenue sits, not in the deals still moving.

  • Next action visible
  • Tasks and reminders
  • History of exchanges

The switch to an assignment

The won deal opens the role to fill, with the client account, the terms and the contact already in place.

  • Nothing to retype
  • Terms preserved
  • Recruitment continues in the same tool

From quote to signature

The proposal goes out from the deal, using your templates, and is signed electronically without leaving the record.

  • Quote attached to the opportunity
  • E-signature
  • Documents filed

Your stages, not a vendor's

An executive search firm's sales cycle is not a temporary staffing agency's. Stages and deal types are configurable.

  • Configurable sales stages
  • Opportunity types
  • Custom fields

The link to what was delivered

What was sold and what was invoiced refer to the same thing. The margin-per-project report compares the order with what was delivered.

  • Revenue per client
  • Margin per project
  • Order compared with delivery

Frequently asked questions

What people ask us about opportunities

Can I define my own sales stages?
Yes. Stages, opportunity types and form fields are all configurable, like the rest of your processes. An executive search firm and a temporary staffing agency do not share the same cycle.
How is an opportunity created?
From an account, from a contact, or straight from a job ad published on LinkedIn, France Travail, Apec, HelloWork or Indeed, using the Nicoka plugin.
What happens when a deal is won?
It opens the assignment in the same tool, with the client account, the negotiated terms and the contact. Recruitment starts with nothing to retype, and invoicing will carry over those same terms.
Can the pipeline be tracked by consultant or by branch?
Yes. Every deal carries its consultant and its branch, and the reports let you follow the pipeline by person, by team and by period.
Is the CRM charged on top of the ATS?
No. The CRM, opportunities, sales and AI are part of Nicoka CABS, at 130 euros per user per month.
